The Meeting of Chrishall Parish Council is to be held on Tuesday 6th May 2025 at 6.30pm, Chrishall Village Hall, Crawley End, to transact the business shown in the Agenda below.  Public and press are invited to attend.

Council to Note: A Council cannot lawfully decide on any matter that is not specified.   1. a) Members of the public are able to comment on items on the agenda or raise issues for future agendas
  2. b) To allow any members or the public or Councillors declaring an interest to address the meeting in relation to the business to be transacted at the meeting. Each person has 3 minutes to express their views unless there are a group of people attending on one item, when it is expected that there will be one person acting as spokesperson.
  3. c) At the close of this item, members of the public will no longer be able to address the Council unless invited to do so by the Chairman.

RESOLUTION: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith minutes the approval of the schedule of receipts and payments for April 2025 sent to all Councillors by email that were unanimously approved by emails to the Parish Clerk

 

  1. b) Bank Reconciliation:

RESOLUTION: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith minutes the approval of the April 2025 bank reconciliation sent to all Councillors by email in advance of the meeting

  1. c) Audit
  2. i) PROPOSAL: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith agrees to accept the findings of the internal auditor and agrees to take appropriate action to ensure any recommendations are implemented.
  3. ii) PROPOSAL: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith review the effectiveness of the system of financial controls and make recommendations to ensure all risk is minimised

iii) PROPOSAL: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith agree by resolution to ensure the electorate is able to exercise its public right to inspect the Parish Council accounts for a single period of 30 working days commencing 16th June to 18th July 2025 including the first two weeks of July

  1. iv) PROPOSAL: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith review and agree by resolution the Annual Governance Statement for 2024/25
  2. v) PROPOSAL: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith agree by resolution the Accounting Statement for 2024/25:
  3. c) Pavilion Cleaning:

PROPOSAL: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith agrees to employ Mrs T Cooley to clean the Brand Pavilion every half term commencing Monday 19th May 2025 on salary scale point 32 of LC2 (£21.52 per hour) plus travel costs at £0.45p per mile, for 3 hours per site visit.
