Carpet Bowls
The club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month 19.30 – 21.30 (Chapel Hall)
We have managed to purchase some second hand Bowls equipment from the Internet. We now have 36 Bowls and 2 mats plus centre blocks and Scoreboards so we can have 4 teams (16 people) playing at one time. All new and experienced players are always very welcome.

Church Mice
Church Mice is a parent and baby/toddler group with a Christian focus. We meet at the New Village Hall (South Hall) on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 10:30 – 11:30am. We have songs, bible stories, craft and snacks – and time to play and chat too! Please ring Helen on 01799 520398 for more information.
Cricket Club
The village runs a thriving cricket team, which plays friendly fixtures on Sunday afternoons between April and September. We play matches against other local villages and “invitation” teams. Nets are now up and running but if you need advice please speak to Lucas Ling at ‘The Heathers’, 4, The High Street.
Home games are played at Jigneys Meadow, opposite the Red Cow. Spectators are very welcome and tea, coffee and cake is on sale in the pavilion.
We have had a number of new players come forward, which is great, but we welcome ALL abilities and ages – the current team ranges in age between 11 and 65, so there’s a place for everyone! Players are very welcome to play as little or often as their other family, school, holiday or social commitments allow.
If you enjoy cricket, played in a competitive yet friendly and sociable spirit, then please join us, both on the cricket field and afterwards at the Red Cow.

Luncheon Club
Chrishall Luncheon Club generally meets on the fourth Thursday of the month.
At present it patronises The Red Cow in Chrishall with a pre-ordered menus only – 12.45 for 1.00 pm.

Open Door Catch-Up Cafe
Open Door is held on the 1st Monday in the month at Chrishall Village Hall
(formerly the Methodist Hall) from 10.30 to 12.00, except for Bank Holidays.
Come and enjoy freshly brewed coffee, teas and softs drinks. There will be a selection of homemade cakes and biscuits along with a few savoury options.

Pilates

Society of Chrishall Artists (SOCA)
We have ten evening meetings a year in the South Hall of the Village Hall. We currently have 16 members. You may join any time during the year and the fees will be apportioned. Some sessions have a theme and others are open for members to paint or create whatever they would like. We also have sketching evenings out and about in the village when the nights are lighter.
We try to arrange trips to visit art exhibitions, studios and other art related events in addition to our programme, not to mention our annual Christmas dinner – normally held in January!
Cost per person is £15 pa to cover hall rental and refreshments. Additional fees are charged when we have to pay for a tutor or extra materials. Details are given in advance of the session.
The Society was founded by Caroline Fookes and Helen Melville-Smith in 2005.
