For the next theme, Character and Heritage, the Forum will be discussing what makes places characterful, local heritage assets and how this fits in with meeting modern day needs. The meeting will be introduced by landscape architect and master-planner Noel Farrer and chaired by Angela Dixon of Saffron Hall.
The event will be live-streamed via zoom from 7pm so that anyone can tune in. Registration will be available via the council’s website: www.uttlesford.gov.uk/new-local-plan.
Following the meeting, residents are able to read a short document on the theme and submit comments. The comments will be summarised so they can be discussed by the Forum and then considered by the council’s Local Plan Leadership Group.
Information on the nine themes, key dates and how to comment will be posted on the Uttlesford’s website and social media channels.
Everyone with an interest in the local plan is encouraged to sign up for regular news and updates by subscribing to the council’s e-newsletter service, at www.uttlesford.gov.uk/keepmeposted.
