Unfortunately, there have been several thefts from properties in Chrishall in the past year, including break-ins to houses, most recently, the theft of garden statuary (see the appeal below). The Parish Council has appealed quite recently for volunteers to act as Neighbourhood Watch coordinators, so that any suspicious activity can be reported and disseminated to residents as quickly as possible. This could perhaps be taken on by three individuals in the various parts of the parish – Crawley End, High Street end and Builden End – and so would not be particularly onerous. We had these items stolen from our garden in Church Rd, Chrishall – probably on October 19th. Please look out for them on social media – if you see them, please contact Essex police with the ref. No. 42/237266/21.
The fish fountain is 30-35cm high and the lead statue is 76cm.
I am very fond of them as they are reminders of my late father.
