NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

 

To: MEMBERS OF CHRISHALL PARISH COUNCIL

You are hereby summoned to attend the Extraordinary Meeting of Chrishall Parish Council to be held on Tuesday 27^th May 2025 at 6.00pm, Chrishall Village Hall, Crawley End, to transact the business shown in the Agenda below.  Public and press are invited to attend.

Council to Note: A Council cannot lawfully decide on any matter that is not specified. (LGA 1972 sch 12 para 10 (2)) (b )a summons to attend the meeting, specifying the business proposed to be transacted at the meeting, and authenticated by the proper officer of the council, shall be sent to every member of the council by an appropriate method

Chrishall Parish Council accepts/ rejects the reason offered for absence from this meeting.

2025.65           Declaration of Members Interests: Pecuniary/Personal

1. a) To receive declarations of interest from councillors on items on the agenda
2. b) To receive written requests for dispensations for declarable interests
3. c) To grant any requests for dispensation as appropriate

2025.66           Minutes of the previous meetings:

RESOLUTION: That Chrishall Parish Council herewith agrees the minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting and the Annual Parish Council meeting held on 6^th May 2025

2025.67           Public Discussion

1. a) Members of the public are able to comment on items on the agenda or raise issues for future agendas
2. b) To allow any members or the public or Councillors declaring an interest to address the meeting in relation to the business to be transacted at the meeting. Each person has 3 minutes to express their views unless there are a group of people attending on one item, when it is expected that there will be one person acting as spokesperson.
3. c) At the close of this item, members of the public will no longer be able to address the Council unless invited to do so by the Chairman.

This item will take a maximum time of 15 minutes
