DaRT 299 Bus Service: conflicting information:
When I contacted the centre for organising journeys (which appears to be based in the Nottingham area), I was informed that Chrishall is not in the zone covered by DaRT 299 service.
I happened to know which coach company was responsible for supplying the service, viz. Flag Finders. If you go to their website and look for DaRT 299, you will see that Chrishall is indeed in the zone covered by the 299 service.
The problem is that the whoever set up the system at central connect (email: dart@central-connect.co.uk, tel. 0115 777 3187), have only included pick-ups and destinations with postcode CM or CB (this is according to the rep there, by the name of ….). He also said, after I had persuaded him to look at the zone map from Flag Finders site, that the map may have changed. I have sent a request for their version of the map via email.
I have also sent a complaint to Essex County Council ref. FS-case-656603366.
Reported as resolved.
