NOTICE OF ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
To: MEMBERS OF CHRISHALL PARISH COUNCIL
You are hereby summoned to attend the Annual Meeting of Chrishall Parish Council to be held on Tuesday 7th May 2024 at 6.30pm, Chrishall Village Hall, Crawley End, to transact the business shown in the Agenda below. Public and press are invited to attend.

Council to Note: A Council cannot lawfully decide on any matter that is not specified. (LGA 1972 sch 12 para 10 (2)) (b )a summons to attend the meeting, specifying the business proposed to be transacted at the meeting, and authenticated by the proper officer of the council, shall be sent to every member of the council by an appropriate method.
Attention is drawn to Standing Order 2:
2. DISORDERLY CONDUCT AT MEETINGS
- No person shall obstruct the transaction of business at a meeting or behave offensively or improperly. If this standing order is ignored, the chairman of the meeting shall request such person(s) to moderate or improve their conduct.
- If person(s) disregard the request of the chairman of the meeting to moderate or improve their conduct, any councillor or the chairman of the meeting may move that the person be no longer heard or be excluded from the meeting. The motion, if seconded, shall be put to the vote without discussion.
- If a resolution made under standing order 2(b) is ignored, the chairman of the meeting may take further reasonable steps to restore order or to progress the meeting. This may include temporarily suspending or closing the meeting.

Crawley End: damaged safety railings around Rooks Pond: awaiting TTRO for road closure: ECC committed to repair.
Speed: vehicles travelling at high speed/poor driving around lanes
Dark & Park Lanes: surface water creating damage: request to ECC for both lanes to be closed to motorised vehicles until repairs completed.
Dark & Park Lanes: unregistered vehicles use: quad bikes: request to close permanently to motorised vehicles.
